Hue is also known as a Buddhist Centre of Viet Nam. There are more than 300 ancient Pagodas in Hue. Among those, Thien Mu Pagoda is a oldest one with more than 400 years old.

Phuoc Duyen tower is the tower was built by King Thieu Tri in 1844, and has become the unofficial symbol of Hue. Each of its seven stories is dedicated to a Buddha who appeared in human form.
